"Colorful Athena" is a collection of the achievements of historian Mr. Xu Songyan's many years of research on ancient Greek history. Professor Xu Songyan has translated three classical historical works, including Herodotus' "History", Thucydides' "History of the Peloponnesian War", and Xenophon's "History of Greece", and has made many field trips to Greece for field research and inspections. At the same time, he is committed to the study of ancient Greek history. Starting from the investigation of ancient economic conditions, he has in-depth explored issues such as slavery, the origin of early Greek residents, maritime colonization, the origin and political system of city-states, and relations between states.
