Beauty, as a predicate of God and a basic concept of Christian philosophy, has led the development of Christian aesthetics or even aesthetics for nearly a thousand years. Especially after humanism and the Renaissance, aesthetic aesthetics based on sensory feelings has been increasingly developed. Therefore, it is very necessary to study the ontological level of beauty, especially in the field of Christian philosophy. This book is divided into two parts: upper and lower. The first part discusses the basic issues and basic theories of ontological aesthetics in classical aesthetics, which is the source of Christian aesthetics. The second part discusses the icon-icon theory of the Eastern Church, especially the Byzantine period, based on Aristotelian philosophical aesthetics and pseudo-Dionysian philosophical theology and philosophical aesthetics.
