Through five chapters including "Philosophy of Story", "Experience of Story", "Quality of Story", "Essential Nature of Story" and "Ethics of Story", it studies new propositions related to novel works such as the art of novel, ontology of novel, history of novel, ethnography of novel and ethics of novel, combined with a large number of specific novel texts, to further explore the poetic mystery of the art of novel. Although there are many theoretical works on novels, this book is unique. There are two main points: 1. To carry out "research on the poetics of novels" from philosophy to history to ethics, etc. This has never happened before in China. 2. Focus on textual analysis of specific works to make academic works vivid and readable.
