2017 is the 90th anniversary of the birth of Xin Fengxia, the founder of the "New School" of Pingju and the "Queen of Pingju". This precious manuscript of Xinfengxia left in Taiwan, China and the United States has been published for the first time. The first part of the book is "Keeping Childish Youth Forever", which is a reminiscence of youthful times. The second part, "Talent in True Colors," is Xin Fengxia's search for the artistic path. When he was learning opera at a young age, he dared to break the stereotypes, used his most instinctive artistic intuition to change the tone of Pingju opera, and founded the "new school" of Pingju opera. What is particularly rare is that in this part, Xin Fengxia not only left behind precious historical materials about her performances in "Survivor" and "Liu Qiaoer", but also recorded the story of her interactions with Qi Baishi, Mei Lanfang and other art giants, unintentionally providing the most appropriate annotation for her "truth": no pretense, no conventionality, and no artificiality. The third part, "Happiness and Sorrow in Life", talks about life experiences, including the story of "Xiaguang Love" with Wu Zuguang, which is still talked about by people today, and how to transform from an opera actor to a writer.
