Qian Zhongshu is a key figure in the development of modern Chinese academics. He has a deep understanding of traditional Chinese academics, modern Chinese academics and modern Western academics. His contributions to modern Chinese academics and modern Chinese literature are recognized by the world. His works such as "Talk about Art", "Guan Zhui Bian" and "Fortress Besieged" have become recognized classics of modern academic and modern novels. His academic achievements represent the high level of Chinese humanities scholarship in the second half of the 20th century. This book is an old work published by the author in 1998. It is mainly some literary and historical notes about professors in old Chinese universities. It is divided into characters, discussion and research.

The document "Notice of the Central Propaganda Department on the Handling of Works and Translated Books by Hu Feng and Key Members of the Hu Feng Group" has not been cited in previous studies on the cases of Hu Feng and the Hu Feng Group, nor has it been collected in several important document anthologies since the founding of New China. None of the parties involved in the Hu Feng Group case mentioned the existence of such a document. This article believes that this document is of great significance in studying the Hu Feng incident. Although the Archives Law has long been promulgated, there are very few facts about the natural declassification of important archives in China. Therefore, for researchers, obtaining relevant research materials from various channels is also an important academic task in itself.
