This book tells a campus story that took place in Spring City. The emotional story of Lin Xiaosheng and Yun Li is used as the main line, which leads to the joys and sorrows between Ye Wei and Luo Dan, Cai Yong and Chen Jing, as well as the humorous scenes of Zheng Xiaoyu, Jiang Tiancai, Lin Rong and other characters, which fully demonstrates the colorful emotions and lives of college students. Four scripts are interspersed during the development of the story: "Black and White Papaya", "Please Take Off Your Mask", "The Wall" and "Gentle Confusion". The author uses the characters in the play to tell some philosophies of life. At the end of the story, there are joys and sorrows: Ye Wei and Luo Dan achieved good results; Lin Rong was admitted to the graduate school as expected; Zheng Xiaoyu entered the civil service interview; Jiang Tiancai returned home to take over the family business; Cai Yong, accompanied by his parents, returned home to heal his soul; Lin Xiaosheng was left confused because of Yunli's disappearance, leaving suspense. Isn't life like this? After pursuing for a lifetime, the most suitable one may not be the one you want, so everything should be left to chance. As the saying goes: "The soft spring rain moistens the heart, the misty white clouds intoxicate the mountain. The autumn wind is refreshing and confusing, and the stream flows long to Nirvana."
