Bailan Village, a subsidiary of the former Xijun City, is located in a remote mountain valley, with about a hundred households. It is at least dozens of miles away from the nearest small town. Most of the people in the village are surnamed Li, and a small number of people with other surnames are also called Lijiacun. People in the village live here all year round. The most famous village chief's family is said to have settled here for thousands of years and is also the oldest.
