Red Child has a withdrawn character. He always takes a homemade dolphin swim bladder boat to a drifting island full of sea vines to turn over green turtles on the brightest night. He thinks this is a very meaningful thing. Whenever all the red sea crabs on the island go into the sea, he talks to himself while waiting for the tide to go down.
