This Chang'an History and Culture Research (Eighth Series) is another collection of essays edited and published by the Chang'an History and Culture Research Center of Xi'an Arts and Sciences. The book is divided into six parts: one is theoretical research, two is history and geography, three is literature and art, four is research on customs, five is history and culture, and six is literature research. Starting from these six parts, the book discusses the historical geography, document research, historical and cultural research of Chang'an, and discusses Chang'an's natural environment, urban development and their interrelationships, Chang'an ancient settlements, Chang'an cultural landscape changes and their utilization, etc.
