This manuscript is a collection of papers written by some teachers from the School of Liberal Arts of Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture. For example, the enlightenment and reflections of the world urbanization process on Beijing's urban development, the architectural regulations of Beijing courtyards and their cultural implications, and the enlightenment of Chinese and Western architectural culture on the development of contemporary architecture.
