Yuefu Studies is a specialized study of ancient literature, juxtaposed with the Study of the Book of Songs, the Study of Chu Ci, the Study of Ci, and the Study of Qu. This book systematically explains for the first time the basic concepts, basic methods, basic history and basic classics of Yuefu Studies. The first two chapters expound the basic concepts and methods, advocating focusing on the study of Yuefu activities and investigating from three levels: literature, music, and literature. The goal is to describe the occurrence, development, and changes of Yuefu poetry as well as the characteristics of music and literature as clearly as possible.
