This book is a monograph that systematically studies sex labor in the Tang Dynasty. On the basis of affirming that sex service in the Tang Dynasty was an independent type of service, this paper gave a new interpretation to the characteristics, hierarchical classification, nature, and issues such as period and service period, payment of wages and payment of fees, etc. Of sex service in the early Tang Dynasty. At the same time, based on the institutional changes in the Tang and Song Dynasties, the evolution of sex service in the late Tang Dynasty and its relationship with the job service in the Song Dynasty were analyzed. In addition, this book also examines the Tang Dynasty sex service in the evolution of the overall service system in ancient China, revealing the key role it played in the early and late transitions of the ancient Chinese service system. In recent years, sex service in the Tang Dynasty has received very little attention as a traditional topic in the study of the economic history of the Tang Dynasty. I hope this book can promote the expansion of this topic and thus provide help for the overall study of the ancient Chinese service system.

This book studies the land tax system during the Tang and Song Dynasties along three levels: the evolution of the system structure, the adjustment of the system implementation mechanism, and the impact of system changes. Among them, the evolution of institutional structure discusses the land tax and additional tax in the Tang and Song Dynasties from two perspectives: vertical and horizontal. The system implementation mechanism reveals the adjustment of land tax collection and management. The impact of system changes mainly analyzes the impact of changes in the land tax system on national finance, agricultural economy and farmers' lives. In the research process, we first focus on the study of the process of changes in the land tax system, and strive to grasp and capture the key policies, systems and nodes that lead to system changes. Secondly, we focus on the relationship between the land tax system and other systems in the process of continuous reconstruction and reshaping, showing the multiple dynamics of institutional change.
