In the summer of 2013, I came to San Francisco to study abroad and began to write small letters about my various experiences in American imperialism. In the long and short letters, I recorded various experiences in my life and study in the past two years: the timidity and embarrassment when I first entered the United States, the apprehension in class, the confusion in the bar, the craziness in the stadium, and the heart-wrenching brainwashing conversations with my teachers... This is not an immediate study abroad application guide or overseas guidance series. I just record and write about myself and my classmates. The growth stories of older people, those little people in the big era - they have shortcomings, confusion, helplessness, hesitation, and fierce impact of values, but they are always working hard, diligent, interesting, and tenacious, and try to live a meaningful life no matter where they live - all these real experiences and thoughts flying in the mind fell on the paper one by one, and finally turned into this personal note of studying abroad.
