This book takes modern Chu Ci as the research object, and strives to comprehensively and systematically display the results of modern Chu Ci research, evaluate these results, and construct the final course of the history of ancient Chu Ci. The whole book is based on the chronology of researchers and different types of important research works on Chu Ci. It not only shows the status and characteristics of Chu Ci research in different periods, but also reflects the connection between Chu Ci research and the changes of the times, achieving a combination of macroscopic grasp and microscopic analysis.
