The book is divided into upper and lower parts, comprehensively sorting out the historical process and research interface of Buddhist literature research and Taoist literature research at home and abroad over the past century, integrating macroscopic understanding and thematic review. The appendix is three introductions to the 12-volume, 25-volume "History of Chinese Religious Literature", a major bidding project of the National Social Science Fund. It is a theoretical construction based on a review of academic history and special research, and systematically explains the compilation concept of "History of Chinese Religious Literature."
