This book is a selection of Lu Xun's works specially selected for ordinary readers, especially young students, by Mr. Wen Rumin, a professor at Peking University and chief editor of Chinese textbooks compiled by the Ministry of Education. This book is divided into two volumes, both of which are representative and easy-to-read works of Lu Xun. The whole book is organized into genres and basically covers various types of Lu Xun's creations. There is a brief description in front of each genre, and an "inscription" in front of each work, which introduces the writing and publication of the work to help readers understand and appreciate the ideological content and artistic form of Lu Xun's works.
