This collection consists of 12 volumes with about 4.5 Million words. Volumes 1-5 contain 10 novels, 2 in each volume. They include "Private Love", "Drunkard", "Wall", "Ceramics", "Island and Peninsula", "Opposite", "He Has a Sharp Knife", "Bar Girl", "Hong Kong Residence" and "The Song of the Times" in order, volumes 6-7 There are 17 novellas, 15 new stories in volume 8, 178 short stories and micro-novels in volumes 9-10, and 65 essays, 25 poems, 85 literary criticisms (including prefaces and postscripts and creative talks) in volumes 11-12 and the collection of literary criticism "Duanmu Hongliang Lun". Each volume is preceded by "Author's Words", "Editor's Words" and "Preparation Instructions". The 12th volume is followed by a creation chronology and an introduction written by the editor Mei Zi. It took 8 years to compile and publish this collection. It is the first time that Mr. Liu Yichang's works have been compiled into a collection, which is of great significance and value.
