Strategy, in ancient Chinese culture, is also called the art of vertical and horizontal, the art of long and short, and the art of hook and distance. In order to summarize historical experience, Mr. Nan Huaijin gave a systematic analysis of ancient Chinese strategies. The first part extracts the essence of Zhao Rui's "Long and Short Classics", Liu Xiang's "Warring States Policy", and Huan Fan's "Shi Yao Lun", and discusses the ways of governing the world, employing people, preventing evil, and identifying traitors with reference to examples of success and failure in history. The second part is a sentence-by-sentence exposition of "Su Shu", "Tai Gong's Art of War" and "Yin Fu Jing".

This book is the first collection of poems written by Mr. Nan Huaijin from the age of fifteen to seventy. It includes more than 550 quatrains, rhymed poems, and long and short sentences written by him in mainland China, Taiwan, and the United States. They are named "Westward Journey" according to different periods. Collection", "Haiwu Collection", "Haidong Collection", "Beguan Collection" and "Meijing Collection" are also appended to dozens of Buddhist verses, couplets and lost poems. It can be said that the poetry is dazzling and magnificent, fully demonstrating Mr. Nan's extraordinary and keen ideological insights and rich and delicate emotional world. Poetry is where Mr. Nan's thoughts and emotions are stored, and it is also a bridge for his disciples to understand Master Nan's life.
