A small carriage was driving slowly on the Shangguan Road on the western border of the Xia Kingdom. The man driving the carriage looked to be in his thirties. He was dressed in ordinary herdsman clothing from the Kyrgyz Kingdom. His face showed the vicissitudes of life. A round black jade with a diameter of about five inches hung around his neck. It gave off a dazzling light under the sun. He leaned lazily against the car door, his eyes slightly closed, chewing a piece of straw in his mouth, his legs crossed, and the reins hung on his toes, letting the horse walk leisurely. From time to time, a trading convoy would speed past under the escort of swordsmen. When passing by, the swordsmen guarding the carriage would cast strange glances at this inconspicuous carriage. Xia State has five capitals and twelve counties, and is adjacent to the four countries of Wu, Yue, Liang, and Ji. It is the largest country in the region with the largest land area and largest population. The five capitals are Landu on the east coast, Yandu in the north, Weidu in the south, Yidu in the west and Shangdu, the core seat of Xia's power. Except for Shangdu, which directly manages four counties, the other four capitals each have two counties under their jurisdiction. Each county has jurisdiction over four cities, and each city has two counties. Sucheng is the main border trade city in Yishan County under the jurisdiction of Yidu.
