"Mirror Eats" is a short story that combines suspense and supernatural horror. It tells the story of the strange events that antique dealer Colin Harper experienced after he accidentally purchased a 17th-century Venetian mirror. This mirror is beautifully carved, but it contains a curse - it can swallow people's souls, causing the reflection in the mirror to gradually replace the owner in reality. Colin thought it was just an illusion at first, but as "himself" in the mirror behaved more and more independently, even predicting the future and manipulating reality, he realized that the danger was approaching. With the help of his friend Lisa, Colin discovered that the mirror once belonged to a murdered Venetian noblewoman. Her resentment was attached to it, constantly luring the new owner into the mirror world and becoming the next prisoner. When midnight falls and the boundary between the mirror and reality blurs, Colin must race against time to find a way to break the curse before "him" in the mirror completely replaces himself - otherwise, he will be trapped in the mirror forever, and another "him" will come into reality...
