This collection of papers includes the main relevant papers of the "International Academic Symposium on Eurasian Regional History Research and the Silk Road" held at the School of International Relations at Sun Yat-sen University in March 2018. The conference was held to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the teaching of Mr. Hamashita Takeshi, a famous Japanese expert on Asian regional history, at Sun Yat-sen University. In order to promote comprehensive regional research on the Silk Road and lay the academic foundation for China's "One Belt, One Road" initiative The collection of papers also includes well-known expert papers in domestic academic circles on the study of Eurasian regional history, the history of the Maritime and Continental Silk Road, and regional research methodology.
