This book is the first specialized work to study folk narratives in contemporary Shaanxi literature. Folk narrative is one of the important fundamentals of contemporary Shaanxi literature. Writers have frequently produced "phenomenal" masterpieces, participating in and promoting the transformation of contemporary Chinese narrative literature.
