I received a call from my old friend Gu Huai, saying that they were going to publish a book, which was a self-selected collection of prose by ten authors from Xinghua. The collective name was "Lotus Leaf Land" (this was originally a poetic nickname for Xinghua, because the water town is like lotus leaves floating on the water). When I heard this, I was surprised while appreciating the beauty of this collection, because Xinghua had just published a series of ten novels not long ago, showing people Xinghua's talented novel writers.
