I'm not a novelist, nor am I a particularly articulate person. I am just an impressionable person. Fortunately, I can still cover up my lack of words by writing some words. Maybe words require quick wit. I don't have quick wit, and sometimes my words can't help but seem a bit clumsy. Writing is much better. I can write slowly and tell the story after careful consideration. I have always believed that history performed by the common people is the most sincere and authentic history (I did not say that the history written in textbooks is pseudo-history). I think people are the best story performers and tellers, so what I tell is actually just a plagiarism of reality. Due to certain opportunities in life, I have frequently traveled to central Zhejiang in the past few years - an area that is already so wealthy that it is jaw-dropping.
