外国史学史
Wang Qingjia Li Longguo
This book is a course textbook on the history of Western historiography. The editor-in-chief, Professor Zhang Zhilian, has extensive research experience in the field of Western historiography. He has invited teachers from Fudan University, Nankai University and other foreign schools to plan and compile the "History of Western Historiography" textbook, and some manuscripts have been completed. Professor Wang Qingjia, a Yangtze River scholar from the Department of History at Peking University, participated in the compilation, supplemented, organized and completed the book. This book will be a high-level textbook that systematically describes the Western historical tradition since ancient Greece. Compared with existing similar textbooks, the discussion is more in-depth and comprehensive. It strives to break through the stereotype of "Western-centrism", expand the content to regions other than China and the West, break through the binary opposition thinking of comparing China and the West, and guide Chinese scholars to expand their horizons and examine changes in history and historiography from a newer perspective.
