Many modern Chinese writers have been influenced by Russian literature, and the relationship between many writers and Russian literature has also been included in the research horizons of Russian sinologists. This book systematically organizes the translation research status of modern Chinese writers represented by Lu Xun, Lao She, Mao Dun, Ba Jin, and Tian Han and their works in Russia. It is based on a large number of field surveys in Russia and framed by cutting-edge fresh materials provided by many famous Russian scholars of Chinese literature research. It uses a comparative analysis of examples of translated texts to reveal the trends and characteristics of modern Chinese literature translation in Russia, and demonstrates the causal relationship between modern Chinese writers and Russian literature from the perspective of Russian scholars. It is not only a study of the history of the spread of Chinese literature in Russia, but also an exploration of literary translation.
