越在外服:殷商西周时期的邦伯研究
Wang Kunpeng
City-state is the earliest political unit of human society. Bangbo, the leader of the city-state, was the backbone of China's early civilization and national form. The development process of early Chinese civilization was roughly from clans to states. At the end of the Longshan period, a situation of tens of thousands of "states" was formed. The formation of the Xia, Shang and Zhou dynasties all experienced the development process of "from Bo to King". During the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, "Bo" was integrated into the five-level nobility system, which had a profound impact on later generations. This book studies the development of the political and social organization "Bangbo" during the Yin, Shang and Western Zhou Dynasties, and explores the process by which Bangbo, who was in the "foreign service" area of the early state, was incorporated into the central dynasty. This was also the process of the continuous expansion of the ruling area of the early state and the subsequent evolution of the political system.
