"Notes on Going to the Countryside" collects more than 200 articles by the author Wang Huimin, divided into three volumes: "Notes on Going to the Countryside" is derived from the author's column of the same name in the People's Daily; "Hot Topics" is the current commentary written by the author on current news; and "Miscellaneous Knowledge" is the short commentary written by the author in conjunction with the published news when he was a page editor. Among them, "Notes on Going to the Countryside" is the largest, so it was named the book. The title "Notes from Going to the Countryside" does not mean that the book is limited to agriculture and rural areas. In fact, it is a heartfelt reflection on China, the "hometown" of all Chinese people. Because many articles have gone beyond the scope of rural areas and intervened in contemporary topics that everyone is concerned about.
