This book takes the memorial activities of the Song Dynasty as an entry point to analyze the ways of information exchange between the monarchs and ministers of the Song Dynasty, as well as the way of making decisions. Based on this, we re-examined the imperial power politics of the Song Dynasty. The whole book is divided into two parts: upper and lower. The first part mainly focuses on analyzing how the emperor and his ministers, except the prime minister and his ministers, exchanged information through memorials. The next article focuses on analyzing how the emperor and his ministers processed the information they had obtained through face-to-face discussions and finally made decisions. The author focuses on the actual operation of power, strives to combine macroscopic discussion and microscopic research, and examines the imperial power of the Song Dynasty in a three-dimensional historical scene to reveal its complex and subtle characteristics.
