Battlefield situation awareness is a key link in combat command and control, and is the prerequisite for making command decisions quickly and accurately. Driven by the dual drive of new combat styles and the development of new technologies such as cognitive science and artificial intelligence, a broad consensus has been formed on the importance of intelligent battlefield situational awareness. There is an urgent need for a set of theories and methods to promote the rapid development of research in this field. The author and team of this book are one of the first professional teams in China to engage in research in this field. After more than ten years of intensive cultivation in this field, they have compiled a monograph on the direction of domestic battlefield situation cognition. This book mainly covers theoretical research results such as battlefield situational awareness concepts, basic principles, and component elements, as well as technical methods and practical cases. It can be used as a reference for command and control theory and system developers, and can also be used as a reference book for command and control-related professional military personnel, researchers, and students.
