This book will focus on elucidating the changes in the profession of doctors and the adjustment and change of the doctor's professional pattern in the British Victorian era, and sort out the social background of the emergence and rise of the British doctor profession and general practitioners before the Victorian era. On this basis, it will explain how the medical reform promoted by general practitioners out of their sense of responsibility and mission to treat diseases and save lives has promoted the professional changes of British doctors and the adjustment of the doctor's professional pattern. This paper focuses on the significant impact that the emergence of general practitioners, changes in the medical profession, and the evolution and adjustment of the professional pattern of doctors in the British medical community had on British society during the changes in the doctor's profession in the Victorian era in Britain.
