This book is an academic monograph on the history of regional disasters. It mainly studies the natural disasters in Ningxia during the Qing Dynasty and society's response to disasters. Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region is located in the inland northwest of my country, with complex terrain and climate conditions. The Qing Dynasty was a period of frequent natural disasters in this area. Various disasters such as drought, floods, and earthquakes caused a large number of casualties and property losses. While people are suffering from various natural disasters, they are also constantly summarizing and accumulating experiences and lessons in disaster prevention, preparedness and relief to minimize the losses caused by disasters.
