Dunhuang has been a metropolis where multi-ethnic economies and cultures blended together since ancient times. Dunhuang culture was jointly created by people of all ethnic groups in ancient times. It is not only the crystallization of their common wisdom, but also the product of cultural exchanges between China and the West. This book is the first general history of the Dunhuang nation at home and abroad, and is also the first academic monograph to comprehensively and systematically discuss the history and culture of the Dunhuang nation.
