In the field of Chinese women's literary criticism, Western feminist theory has always had discourse hegemony. "Luxury from the West" and "Construction from the West" are the critical paradigms and paths chosen by most scholars. Western feminist theory is constructed based on Western gender political oppression and literary practice as a critical reference, and its applicability in China deserves analysis. Breaking out of the Western discourse barriers and constructing the theory of national subjectivity has become an important topic for the continued development of Chinese women's literary criticism. To this end, this book proposes the concept of the theoretical construction of national subjectivity in Chinese women's literary criticism based on studying traditional Chinese gender theory and observing the practice of Chinese feminist literary criticism.
