This is a collection of popular stories selected by the "True Story Project", a popular magazine with millions of fans in China. This book is a collection of award-winning works in the second non-fiction writing competition of the "True Story Project". The True Story Project is a gathering of several of our young media people. Previously, we were all reporters for newspapers and magazines such as Southern Weekend and Beijing News, writing stories about people in the media. People who come to the True Story Project to tell stories include doctors, programmers, school dropouts, and ex-convicts. Through their stories, we try to piece together a map of the Chinese mind, marking the love and fear of our generation. This Chinese version of "One Thousand and One Nights" is a true story project.
