Squatting for a Long Time

Tide Meng Boy

4K0

Where does the numbness from squatting for a long time come from? Is it people's indifference to reality, or is it overthinking about nothingness, or is numbness just numbness? I have no idea. At the same time, I can't stand the numb and confused new generation (although I am the same), because not many new generations know Camus, Nietzsche, and Sartre anymore. There are a large number of people who only have a slight understanding of nihilism and call themselves nihilistic boys. Some people are indifferent to this or that, and describe depression as nihilism, pretending to be some kind of ism youth. Also, I found that most people have become collectively apathetic and numb due to some things on the Internet or in real life. Because of what I saw and heard, I started to think about why people are so numb? Why are the new generations numb? What is numbness? Does the new generation still need philosophy? Is philosophy still needed now? How to break the numbness? I plan to think about the answers to these questions as I write my novel.
