"The Singer Looking for the Lamp" is a collection of prose poems by the author, which is divided into four series: "The Aftertaste of Tang Sound", "The Singer Looking for the Lamp", "Portrait" and "Aria of Youth". They use old inscriptions from Tang poems to write about their own life experiences; they use the characters in "Water Margin" and "A Dream of Red Mansions" as writing objects; they write about their own life as a teacher; and they use the theme of youth to write about their feelings about life. Since the author has been teaching in colleges and universities for a long time, the poetic text is naturally centered on the life writing of intellectuals. The collection of prose poems uses refined language to express poetic insights, which is unique. Using poetry as a medium, the works create a space for dialogue between the self and society.
