He was trapped by heavy schoolwork and a depressing family atmosphere. In that summer when the cicadas were chirping non-stop, she transferred to another school, but she felt as familiar as meeting again after a long absence. They escaped from the track of life and ran, silently, and talked at night on the edge of the city, as if the world could be suspended as long as she was there. She could always understand the emotions he didn't want to express, and she seemed like the person destined to accompany him through this lonely journey.
