Ancient book restorer Lu Jianwei is one of the few holders of civilization in the disaster. She gathered scattered scavengers in the desolate land and established the "Dawn" settlement. The silent and tenacious Zhou Tie devoted himself to studying the iron smelting technology she acquired to lay a solid foundation for the settlement's survival; the pure and sincere young man Ashu became her "memory carrier", silently recording words and technology, and continuing the traces of civilization; and a group of ordinary guardians supported each other, making the cold wasteland gradually feel like a "home".
