Dawn Burning Lamp
Science Fiction曙光燃灯
The Wanderer In The Clouds Is Endlessly Drunk
After the Great Silence, civilization collapsed. In the desolate wasteland, the wind and sand swallowed up the remaining traces of humanity. Words, technology, and order were all buried. The remaining scavengers struggled in a desperate situation, forgetting the appearance of "civilization" and their own roots. Ancient book restorer Lu Jianwei is one of the few holders of civilization in the disaster. She walks alone in the wasteland with a blank ancient book, awakening the glimmer of civilization at the cost of forgetting her personal past, and vowing to rekindle the forgotten fire. She gathered scattered scavengers in the desolate land and established the "Dawn" settlement. The silent and tenacious Zhou Tie devoted himself to studying the iron smelting technology she acquired to lay a solid foundation for the settlement's survival; the pure and sincere young man Ashu became her "memory carrier", silently recording words and technology, and continuing the traces of civilization; and a group of ordinary guardians supported each other, making the cold wasteland gradually feel like a "home". The wasteland is full of dangers, intrusion from marauding groups, lack of resources, and loss of memory, which test these guardians time and time again. Lu Jianwei struggled with forgetfulness and perseverance, but never gave up his original intention of protecting civilization; Zhou Tie, Ashu and others went from ignorance to determination, guarding the settlement and the weak fire of civilization with courage and perseverance. This is a story about persistence and inheritance. A group of ordinary people use their ordinary bodies to fight against desolation and oblivion, protect the foundation of civilization with perseverance, and withstand the test of despair with unity. What they guard is not only ancient books and slates, but also the original intention and hope of "people". On the wasteland, they write a chapter of sustainable civilization and a spark to start a prairie fire.
