Thunder Era

The Void Breaks Through

14K0

The gods are hiding and the empire is rising. This is an era that belongs to "people" and it is also a troubled time where heroes and chess pieces coexist. The story begins in the northern border of the Zijin Empire, with an abandoned battlefield baby named Lei Ming who was abandoned by the orcs in the "Bloodfield War". He was adopted by the "Thunder Harrier" Lu Xiangsheng, a loose cultivator of the Tianxia Alliance, and learned a set of complex but practical thunder fighting skills. Lei Ming was born with a "leaky body" and could not store fighting energy as usual, so he found a new way to forge every inch of flesh and blood in his body into a container for attracting, storing and releasing thunder. Ten years ago, a "Holy Prayer Day Massacre" occurred that shocked the imperial capital. When the Holy See Pope was presiding over the ceremony, he was killed by a thunderbolt in full view of the public. The power characteristics of that thunder were directed at Leiming's adoptive father, Lu Xiangsheng. Since then, Lu Xiangsheng has been jointly hunted by the Knights Templar of the Holy See and the Empire. His whereabouts are unknown, and his life and death are unknown. Lei Ming took his adoptive father's relic - a piece of lightning wood engraved with the Olympus divine pattern, struggling to survive at the bottom, looking for traces, and vowing to find out the truth. In order to pursue clues, Lei Ming got involved in the undercurrent of the Xiliang Kingdom and the Zijin Empire, and got acquainted with the wandering elf princess Aisha, the renegade Templar Set, and the deprived dwarf prince Jinli. He gradually discovered that the "Holy Prayer Day Massacre" was far from simple as it appeared. It involved the interference of the third generation Olympus Protoss in human faith, and even vaguely pointed to the secrets of ancient divine wars.
