The Code of the Tang Dynasty has not undergone any major changes since it was compiled during the Zhenguan period. After Emperor Gaozong of the Tang Dynasty came to the throne, in addition to making some changes to the text, in order to facilitate implementation, Changsun Wuji, Chu Suiliang and others participated in the compilation of the Code, and it was promulgated to the world in the fourth year of Yonghui (653 AD). This book selects twelve laws from "Tang Laws" and transforms them into 12 characters to tell the tragedy around their emotions.
