This book is a compilation of the results of an essay contest organized by the Sinicization of Marxism Teaching and Research Section of the School of Marxism at Sichuan University in the spring of 2014, with the theme of "Xiaoping? Xiaokang? Hometown" to commemorate the 110th anniversary of Deng Xiaoping's birth. The genres of this call for essays include prose, poetry and plays. This book is a result of the "micro-essay" activity carried out by the School of Marxism at Sichuan University in 2018 on the platform of the course "Introduction to the Theoretical System of Mao Zedong Thought and Socialism with Chinese Characteristics". It uses poetry, scripts, essays and other genres to present college students' understanding of the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and their understanding of Sichuan University's striving to become a new generation of the times.
