History of the Labor Movement

Tang Yuliang

90K0

The modern working class is the product of capitalist machine industry. Since it is inherently in a position of opposition to the bourgeoisie, it has been engaged in unremitting struggle with the bourgeoisie since its birth. Using time as a clue, this book starts from the emergence of the Chinese working class and introduces readers to a series of historical events closely related to the Chinese workers' movement, such as the early spontaneous struggles of the working class, the first upsurge of the national labor movement, the glorious years and painful lessons of the Great Revolution, the arduous struggle during the Agrarian Revolutionary War, the struggle during the Anti-Japanese War, the struggle in the War of Liberation, and finally the welcoming of New China, thus giving a panoramic view of the ups and downs of the Chinese working class in modern China.
