People on Tianyuan Continent mainly practice fighting spirit. Each level is divided into nine stars, eight stars, seven stars, six stars, five stars, four stars, three stars, two stars, and one star. There are three sects, four gates, and many empires on Tianyuan Continent. The three sects are Xiao Sect, Xiaoyao Sect, Blue Valley Sect, Wanjian Sect, Canglang Sect, Wandan Sect, and Tiandao Sect. The protagonist and the system embark on a series of stories where sects fight against each other.

Shen Tingxue comes from a top spiritual family, but is considered unlucky because of her blindness and strange spiritual roots. His parents died tragically in a secret realm to protect him.
