Ten influential writers from Binhai City were invited to attend the meeting. It is understood that since the new era, many influential writers, critics and poets have emerged in Zhangxian County, especially Lao Mu's novels, which have aroused great repercussions across the country. He was once hailed as the pioneer writer who has traveled farthest in China. After his creative transformation, Lao Mu used the thinking of a philosopher and the passion of a poet to create a large number of works that reflected the spirit of the times. Particularly worth mentioning is the novella "Journey" that was completed in Zhangxian County, which truly describes the outstanding contributions made by the people of Zhangxian County to the cause of liberation of the Chinese people during the revolutionary war.
