Pang Yuru opened her eyes when she heard the sound of water drops splashing on the metal awning, but she couldn't figure out whether she heard the sound first and then woke up, or woke up first and then heard the sound. The sound came from the building opposite, ding-ding-dong-dong, very nice, a bit like beads falling on a jade plate. The sound was both like the sound of rain and the sound of water dripping from someone upstairs watering the plants. They hit the metal awning, jumped happily, and then jumped from the awning to the ground. In terms of geographical location, this courtyard is the front yard of the building where Pang Yuru lives, but it is the backyard of the other two buildings. The three buildings are like the three sides of a box. Looking out from the other side along the wall are some endless mountains. At the foot of the mountains are some low-rise houses, inhabited by some migrant workers.
