This book aims to systematically review the century-old history of Eastern European literature in China based on the subjective standpoint of modern Chinese literature, including the connotation of Eastern European literature from a Chinese perspective; the translation, research and influence of Eastern European literature in China over more than a century; case analysis of writers such as Kundera, Petofi, Fuchik, and Brecht; and the role of Esperanto in this specific Chinese and foreign context. Through analysis of the intermediary cultural functions in the relationship, etc., We will conduct research on "Eastern European literature" in the relationship between Chinese and foreign literature, with a view to revealing the constructive significance of Eastern European literature to modern Chinese literature in comparison with the relationship between Chinese and Western literature, thereby fully exploring the complex relationship between modern Chinese and foreign literary relations, the occurrence and transformation of Chinese literature and culture, and foreign resources.
