I was only 9 years old when I first saw them. In order to complete an essay for my teacher, I asked my father to take me to visit the orphanage. I stood at the door with a doll in my arms, glancing evasively at the dazzlingly white children sitting deep in the room. For a long time, I didn't even think about the fact that I had originally brought them the doll. My composition was as beautiful as ever, and without any suspense, the teacher took it and read it to the class. The students were unusually quiet that day, and the teacher's voice floated very lonely over the classroom. As always - in the teacher's solemn and joyful voice, I strongly suspected that what he read was not the composition I wrote.
