Due to the particularity of its geographical location, Hainan archeology has always occupied a unique position in the development and territory of Chinese archaeology. Over the past thirty years, new archaeological discoveries and research have made Hainan archeology continue to become a topic of concern to the Chinese archaeological academic community and the public. This book focuses on these topics, summarizes the development process of Hainan archeology over the past thirty years, comprehensively sorts out the results of disciplinary research, provides the latest archaeological materials, discusses basic issues in Hainan archaeological culture, solves problems in the development of the discipline, so that the past of Hainan archeology can serve the present and future, and make Hainan archeology known to the public. The first chapter of this book reviews the history of Hainan archeology, the second chapter introduces the development of archaeological work in Hainan over the past thirty years, the third chapter shows the significant achievements of Hainan archeology in the past thirty years through the important archaeological developments in the cultural relics of Hainan Province, and the fourth chapter reviews the academic construction and research status of Hainan archeology. Chapter 5 discusses the problems faced by archaeological research in Hainan and puts forward relevant suggestions.
