I was born in a small mountain village in northern Shanxi. I still speak with a strong local accent and often dream about my childhood friends and the memories of spring sowing and autumn harvest. The land here is barren and there are few resources, but generations of people have worked hard, busy with the hope of just enough to maintain food and clothing, day after day, year after year. Many times, they live a spiritual life. I know that I am stupid and slow, so I am serious and persistent in whatever work I do; I like reading, and after work, I spend a lot of time reading and writing. Just like the land here, even if I work a hundred times a thousand times, the harvest is still very limited, but I am willing to get up early and work hard at night, day after day, year after year. Many times, I live by a belief.
